Semiahmoo is comprised of unique residential neighborhoods and exceptional resort amenities, including a hotel and spa, a private golf club, and a marina.

For Residents

Owned by our community members, the Semiahmoo Resort Association (SRA) manages the 27 distinct neighborhoods that make up Semiahmoo.

Board And Committees

The SRA Board of Directors is comprised of nine volunteers elected by the community, and one unelected member appointed by the Resort Properties.  The Board provides oversight of SRA management and operations, sets long term strategy, and addresses community issues and problems.  Eight standing Committees are in place to provide advice and assistance to the Board, staffed by community volunteers appointed by the Board.

Budget and Dues

Each year, SRA completes a comprehensive budgeting process that culminates with a community approval vote at the Annual General Meeting in late fall.  Operating and Restricted Reserve budgets are created.  SRA community members receive an annual dues assessment to fund these budgets, based on the type and size of property they own.  Dues are paid in two installments.

Covenants And Rules

These documents establish the SRA, detail its authority, and address all aspects of its functioning.  They also address property owner rights and responsibilities as well as community and neighborhood rules and standards.

Home and Landscape Changes

Written Standards, published and administered by the Architectural Standards Committee, guide owners and their contractors who are pursuing new construction, major exterior remodeling, new landscaping construction, or major landscape alterations.

Voting and Annual General Meeting

Each year, SRA conducts a voting process during which community members are asked to approve the proposed budget, elect new Board members, and accept or reject Board and member-sponsored Resolutions.  Voting results are announced at the Annual General Meeting of the Semiahmoo Resort Association, which takes place in late-October.
