Boating
Semiahmoo is a coastal community situated on the Salish Sea, which allows boating access to huge lengths of coastline without ever leaving protected waters. For this reason, pleasure boating is very popular. The San Juan Islands, just to the South, are a boater’s paradise. Fishing and crabbing opportunities are abundant, both for commercial operations and the recreational boater. Two marinas serve the area.
Semiahmoo Marina
The Semiahmoo Marina is situated on the Semiahmoo Spit at the south entrance to Drayton Harbor. This facility offers 300 slips, transient moorage, fueling and parts ordering services, and a marina store and café.
Blaine Harbor
Situated in downtown Blaine with a view of the Peace Arch at the U.S./Canadian border, the newly renovated Blaine Harbor has over 600 slips for commercial and pleasure boats, and abundant guest moorage space.
